Iron Maiden: “Eddie….What took you so long?” The truly amazing Iron Maiden recorded their new album at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas earlier this year. As a historic first for the band, they released El Dorado, a track from their new The Final Frontier album, as a free download on the eve of the opening date of their North American tour, to huge excitement from their massive global fan base. Following on from this, Darkside Animation Films were commissioned to produce a cutting edge video for the albums opening track, The Final Frontier. The project was conceived and produced in a staggering 7 week period! Darkside Animation Films produced the whole film, including all live action sequences which were shot at three separate locations, and which were directed by long term friend and business associate Nick Scott. All CG-VFX elements were produced in-house by Darkside Animation Films’ fantastic animation team. Thanks also to our excellent ‘props’ partner FBFX for doing such a splendid job.
